The Evoque - One year on
It was hardly a secret that a Baby Range Rover was in production. A good couple of years before the official launch rumours were circulating, then we had the LRX concept vehicle that was displayed at every major car show worldwide.The only real surprise when it was officially launched was the name: ‘Evoque’ even Land Rover staff seemed to get it wrong and pronounced it more like ‘Evok’ instantly giving it the ‘Ewok’ nickname. And some press releases referred to it as the ‘Range Rover Evoque’ while others said ‘Land Rover Evoque’

Carisma Defender
When we first saw the photos for this vehicle we thought we’d been sent the wrong ones by mistake. Surely that couldn’t be a Defender, could it? Simon WH had to go and find out for himself.

Challenger 4x4 Defender 90
You would think that if you owned a very successful 4x4 business you would have the choice of the best vehicles to get around in but Paul Bass found himself ‘stuck’ with a Discovery II. Good for the family, good for towing, nice and comfortable, but totally devoid of the Fun Factor. So he set about building himself a very tasty Defender 90 Soft Top.
