Here you will find news of any major updates to the website as well as any news regarding new products etc. December 13th 2009: Christmas Opening Hours. Our business will be open as usual for a few days over the Christmas period. You will be welcome to visit our trade counter. We will also be processing and despatching telephone and on line orders over these days. See below: Thursday Dec24th CLOSED We aim to process and despatch all orders placed from Dec 24th to Dec 30th on Dec 29th and Dec 30th. All on line orders placed after these days may be be processed over the holidays but will not be despatched until we return on January 4th. Remember to keep visiting our website over the holidays as we will have some exclusive holiday period special offers available for a limited period. 2009 has been a great year for new products at Paddock Spares. Some of the most important 'new products' this year have been items for the older vehicle, some of which we thought we'd never see again! Defender wing skins made a return as well as many panels for Series vehicles that we thought we'd said goodbye to. Series front wing skins should be available again in the very early new year (keep an eye on the website!). The other important items added to our range in 2009 have been the massive increase in Original Equipment Manufacturer parts available from Paddock Spares. Over recent years there has been a greater demand for the best quality parts and in many cases it has become apparent that an OE part is not always much more expensive than an aftermarket item. You'll see on our website that we've added hundreds of OE versions of fast moving items such as seals, suspension bushes, bearings etc. This range will be further increased in 2010 to ensure that Paddock Spares is your 'one-stop' shop for quality spares for Land Rover. We've also been working very closely with UK Manufacturers to ensure that the correct products are being manufactured at the best quality and price. There seems to have been a resurgence in UK manufactured items for Land Rover with various new companies starting to manufacture for the Land Rover market. A very exciting time! Finally thank you to all of our customers and suppliers in 2009 for making it another successful year. April 7th 2009: Easter Holidays. Our offices and trade counter will be closed from 5:00pm Thursday 9th April and will re-open at 8:00am Tuesday April 14th. December 21st 2008: Christmas Holidays. Our sales/customer service offices will be closed from 5:00pm Tuesday 23rd December and will re-open at 8:00am Friday January 2nd. All on line orders received over the holiday period will be processed over the holidays and despatched when we return on January 2nd. Here's to 2009! June 27th 2008: Yesterdays powercut. Yesterday our offices and warehouse were without electricity from 10am to 7.30pm. We limped along with a generator and torches. We would like to thank all of our cutomers who called (both physically to our premises and over the phone). We thank you for your patience and hope that we did not inconvenience any of you. PS the whole of our industrial estate was down, not just us (we had paid the bills!). March 21st 2008: Easter Holidays. All on line orders received over the weekend will be processed over the holidays and despatched when we return on April 10th. December 20th 2006: Christmas Holidays. Our sales/customer service offices will be closed from 5:00pm Friday 22nd December and will re-open at 8:00am Tuesday January 2nd. The site has been down for a short while today. This was while we upgraded to the newest version of our eCommerce software. We will also be moving to a new faster server in the coming days. These moves are to ensure our site maintains its position as one of the leading sites for Land Rover enthusiasts. October 16th 2006: Price Reductions. Over 70 prices reduced this week. Ensuring we keep the best prices available. A few new products also added. We've added heavy duty hardened drive flanges to the axles section of our site. You can now also get Timing Belt Kits online. May 13th 2006: New Products and Price Reductions. Over the last 2 weeks we have reduced over 100 prices. This is mostly due to parts for newer vehicles now becoming more common sellers resulting in us being able to purchase more effectively. We have also added some very exciting new products. We now have Bilstein Steering Dampers available for Disco 2 and Range Rover P38A. We've also had many requests for Cranked Rear Trailing Arms for all of thos people fitting lift kits. They are now on sale for all Defender, Disco 1 and Range Rover Classic from 1986. We're also very excited about the new XS Style Defender Seats from the Britpart trim shop. We've always been very impressed with the quality of trim products from Britpart and are sure that these seats will be amongst the best on the market. February 5th 2006: It's 3 weeks since we launched the new website. New items are being added all the time, with many more to come. A lot of special offers have been added. You'll notice that we are constantly trying to add more images. Keep coming back to the site, this is only the start! |
