Two versions of this popular 270degree awning are available; 2.5m and 2.0m, this dimension refers to the closed length of the awning when attached to the vehicle as well as the arm length when opened. The 2.5m Terradactyl is a 4-wing awning and the 2.0m is a 5-wing awning guaranteeing maximum shade and shelter. The 2.5m awning is ideally suited to LWB vehicles with a rack or body side length of at least 2.5m long, for shorter vehicles the 2.0m Terradactyl 2/5 is perfect.  

The Terrafirma Terradactyl awnings mount to the left side of your vehicle and when open provide a huge area of shade & shelter around the side and rear. The Terradactyl awnings are self-supporting in moderate weather conditions. Each of the sturdy triangulated aluminium arms includes an integrated drop-down twist and lock leg and sturdy guy rope to secure it to the ground. The canvas is our popular grey 400D ripstop fabric and each wing has a tie down loop to allow water to run off to prevent puddling.

The awnings are mounted to the vehicle via the integral T slot extruded aluminium back plate. When stowed away the awning and poles all fit perfectly into its own built-in heavy-duty PVC coated nylon cover.

The Terradactyl ‘room’ attaches to the awning with a full-length Velcro strip providing all round shelter with each section including a large roll up external canvas window and a mosquito net, one of which doubles as the full-size entrance door. Additional internal zip open panels allow access to side and rear of the vehicle.

The 2.0m Terradactyl 2/5 awning has 2 stage LED lighting strips built into each arm.
